So last weekend was a big training weekend with us joining 2,000 other riders to take
on the #Dulux Trade London Revolution which totalled at 194 miles with 10,528 ft of climbing over the two days.
It was a fantastic ride taking in some of the most stunning scenery the South East has to offer.
On the first day, after crossing Tower Bridge, we headed down into north Kent, then a bit of Sussex, gently rolling through some beautiful, hidden parts of Surrey until we emerged into a sunny Berkshire.
Then day two took us through Marlow and then on up onto some very pretty trails in the Chilterns before running all the way across the top of London and back in to Enfield – this was a great advert for why it is worth taking up cycling.
The plan is for some more gentle cycling for the next week or so, then a nice tasty (hilly) 100-miler to Dover on the 28th – bizarrely, I can’t wait!!
